CCD NEWS 2008-2009

Welcome Back

Registration in grades K-10 will take place in the Parish Hall on the following dates: Saturday, September 6th after the 4PM liturgy and Sunday, September 7th after the 8AM and 10AM liturgies. We continue to pre-register. You now have the opportunity to register your child Monday thru Friday in the office from 9AM to 12PM and 1PM to 3PM.

Your child will not be assigned to a classroom unless he/she is registered by the closing registration date, Sunday, September 21st with the exception of new families.

We do not accept phone or mail-in registrations.

CLASSES RESUME ON THE FOLLOWING DATES:
Sunday, September 28th - Kindergarten
Monday, September 29th - Grades 7-9
Tuesday, September 30th - Grades 1-6

Monday, October 20th - Grade 10 Confirmation Candidates

Confirmation Schedule

THERE IS NO DATE AS YET FOR THE CONFIRMATION CEREMONY

The CCD teachers volunteer their time to teach your children about the Catholic Faith. Although they do a wonderful job, one hour a week is not enough.

Please come to Mass with your children and celebrate the Eucharist. It is the main part of our faith!!

When your children go to CCD, they start their journey to Reconciliation, the Holy Eucharist and then Confirmation, but their LIFE IN CHRIST does not end with Confirmation.

In order to fulfill our teaching bring them to the Mass and join in the celebration!

Saint Martha's weekly bulletin and website are the main source of communication, therefore, please watch for important changes and additional information regarding all dates and events.
